Core Values

Jesus is Lord, and it’s all about Jesus

- John 14:6 and Romans 10:9-10
Our focus is Jesus, and we exist to worship Him, to challenge people to know Him, and to walk with Him every day of our lives. Our goal isn’t to make members of our church, or to focus on any human institution, but to help people to meet Christ. In Jesus is life, and that He is the Way to know God. We invite you to dream about what church would be like if the focus was really on Christ and not on temporary human stuff!

We stand on the Word of God alone
-2 Timothy 3:16
Put simply, we trust that the Bible perfectly communicates what God wants us to know about Himself, ourselves and the world. We trust Scripture in every way, we praise God that we have access to his word and we desire to conform ourselves to it through the power of the Holy Spirit. We are dedicated to knowing the Bible and not just being “hearers” of the Word, but doers of it.

We are called to serve
-John 15:12-13, Ephesians 4:11-13
Many people are cynical about Christians today, but we’re going to put hands and feet to the Gospel by going out and serving… not just each other, but the whole community. We believe that each person has a mission and ministry from God. We strive to serve cheerfully, according to our spiritual gifts and in response to God’s call.

God changes lives
-Romans 12:1-2
God has done amazing things in our lives and we know He has more in store. He heals the sick, reconciles marriages, turns people from sin, repairs relationships, transforms nations and moves in ways that keep us in awe. We look forward to God changing even more lives as He draws people to Himself in our midst!

We are making disciples
-Matthew 28:18-20
God loves the world so much, and we’re called to do the same thing. We will so passionately love the world, that people will be drawn to Christ. And we won’t just tell people about Jesus, but teach them to be followers of Him. This is the mission Jesus gave the Church, and we will boldly live it out!
