Our History

Here's a short history of Christ Lutheran Church:

March 2005- Christ Lutheran Church is formed as a mission start of LCMC!  Meeting at Wadsworth Elementary School, they are led by retired pastor Paul Myers. CLC is the first LCMC church in Florida.

July 2007- CLC moves to its current building in the Atlantis complex

July 2009- CLC calls its new full time pastor, Christian Magnell, who moves with his family down to Palm Coast to embark on this new ministry

October 2009- Our first Sunday School for children is started!

November 2009- A multimedia system, utilizing projection and run by Apple computers is installed in our sanctuary.

April 2010- Easter Sunday we hold a Sunrise service on the beach, and it immediately becomes a montly event

July 2010- CLC holds its first Vacation Bible School for kids

August 2010- We start a second service! We now have a contemporary praise service at 9am and a traditional Gospel Service at 10:30am.

October 2010- Our new Constitution and By laws is adopted

October 2010- The Annual Trunk or Treat at CLC exceeds 1100 in attendance

April 2011- Our second annual Sonrise Easter beach service attracts 170 to the seaside at Varn Park, along with a large increase in attendance in services at the church

July 2011- We increased our building space by 50% with the addition of the new Annex designed to hold Sunday School, large events and various kinds of meetings and church events. This space was opened just in time for our second Vacation Bible School, which doubled the number of kids from the summer before!

September 2011- In response to continued growth in our youth program, we brought on board our Caroline Pilar Lacsamana as our Youth Minister

December 2011- Due to growing attendance in worship and Sunday School, we add a second Christmas Eve service and a children's program which becomes an instant hit!
